Cancellation Policies
Full payment is due at time of booking plus tax which is 13.1875%.
Full refund will be provided 14 days prior to arrival, except a $50 processing fee.
For a 50% refund, cancellation must be made 7 full days to the check in time (4:00pm). For example, if check in is on Friday, cancel by Friday the previous week before check in time.
If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded.
If a guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded.
Holiday Season (December 20th – January 1st): 30 day cancellation policy applies to receive a full refund. If you cancel within the 30 days you will be entitled to a 50% refund 14 days prior to your arrival. Within the 14 days there will be no refund issued.
Minimum Stays
A two night reservation is required to book online. Sometimes a single night is available, please call us directly. A minimum of 3 to 4 nights are required during the holiday season (December 20th – January 1st) .
Travel Insurance
We are a small family owned and operated property and we need your commitment to your reservation. Reservations are accepted with the understanding you will be financially responsible for the entire period reserved. We cannot be responsible for illness, family emergencies, work conflicts or inclement weather. We highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance, available at a nominal cost from insuremytrip.com. This company is independent and not affiliated with Taos Lodging.
Check In
Guests can check in from 3PM – 7PM. For early or late check in please call to make arrangements.
Check Out
Check out is at 11AM. Please ensure that all dishes are washed in your casita and the trash is removed prior to departure.
Groups and Celebrations
Multiple casitas can be booked for weddings, family reunions and retreats please contact the property directly so that we may assist you with your booking and arrangements.
Outdoor Hot Tub
The hot tub is open from 6AM until 10PM at night. To respect our neighbors, please maintain a conversational level between 8:00 and 10:00pm.
Pet Policy
We love pets and welcome well-behaved dogs and cats at Taos Lodging. There is a one-time $75 pet fee for the first, and $25 per additional animal, with a maximum of two. Mutt Mitts are available on property and we ask that you clean up after your pets when they roam the grounds. Any damage by your pet to the casitas will charged to the guest.
Dogs must be crated when left alone in your Casita. Excessive barking disturbs other guests, so if your dog is highly expressive, please do not leave him or her alone, even if crated. Also, dogs must be leashed or otherwise supervised at all times on the property.
For those of you bringing pets, we leave a basket with old sheets, towels and a water bowl to use during your stay. Pets are never allowed on the furniture and if we find pet hair on the furniture, you may be subject to a fine of up to $500.
Smoking
There is no smoking allowed in any of the casitas. Smoking is permitted in all the exterior spaces throughout the property. Ashtrays are provided on all the porches of the casitas.
Lost Keys
There is a $20 charge for each set of room keys lost or not returned upon check out.
